Dalers blow out of Kent Senior Trophy 19.10.2019
The Dalers were dumped out of the Kent Senior Trophy by SC Thamesmead 4-1, a disappointing performance in the first half so them go into the break 3-0 down.
A better 2nd half saw a goal pulled back by Ryan Golding but SC Thamesmead sealed the win with a fourth in the dying minutes.
Dalers secure 3 points against Greenways 12.10.2019
The Dalers came away with the points but were lucky not to be 3 down in the first half which was due to Nathan Edwards making some brilliant saves.
Goals from Jamie Rawsthorne and Ryan Golding secured the 3 points.
Dalers draw away to Snodland Town 05.10.2019
Goals from Andy Constable and Ryan Golding saw the Dalers take a 2-0 lead away to Snodland.
A subline first goal for Snodland and a free kick just before half time saw the teams go in at halftime 2-2.
The 2nd half saw a few chances for each side with neither team being able to clinch the winning goal.
Dalers Move up to 2nd in League 28.09.2019
The Dalers picked up their 2nd win of the week with a 2-0 win against Rochester Utd.
Goals from debutant Nathan Palmer and Ryan Golding was enough to secure the win.
Dalers Upset League Leaders 25.09.2019
The Dalers came away with a 3-1 win against top of the table FC Elmstead.
In a close fought match goals from Andy Constable, Jermaine Jeannoel and Ryan Golding saw us home to bag the 3 points.
Dalers draw 0-0 at Meridian 21.09.2019
In a game that Holmesdale should have won we came away with a 0-0 draw.
Dalers bow out of FA Vase – 14.09.2019
In a close game the Dalers lost 0-1 to Egham Town from the Combined Counties Premier Division.
During the early stages, the Dalers hit the crossbar and had a couple of close range chances missed whilst dominating the play.
A change in formation by Egham at halftime led to them creating a few opportunities scoring a goal on 69 mins.
In the last 20 mins the Dalers created a lot of pressure on the Egham Town goal but they stood firm to walk away with the 0-1 win.
Next game is away to Meridian in the SCEFL First Division 21/09/2019.
Dalers go down 0-1 to Kennington – 07/09/2019
Kennington came away from Oakley Road with the 3 points on Saturday with a penalty that was the last kick of the first half.
Enforced and selected changes meant a different 11 starting following the FA Vase victory, then an injury to Jordan Eeels meant another change on 20 mins in the first half. A disappointing first half for the Dalers left them 0-1 at the break.
The 2nd half was a different story as the Dalers came out of the blocks quicker and more determined forcing 3 early corners. Plenty of chances were created during the 2nd half (with 3 goals disallowed) but the Dalers failed to find the equalizer.
Next game is at home to Egham Town in the FA Vase 2nd Qualifying Round 14/09/2019.
Dalers through to FA Vase 2nd Qualifying Round – 31/08/2019
Holmesdale overcame step 5 opponents Sheerwater FC from the Combined Counties in a close fought FA Vase 1st Qualifying Round tie at Oakley Road.
Sheerwater started the stronger and deservedly took the lead on 12 minutes through Shane Rideout, the Dalers rode the storm and pulled an equaliser out of the bag on 35 minutes with a goal from Marcus Howell, 1-1 at the break.
The half time team talk benefitted the Dalers as they came out stronger and quicker in the 2nd half and clinched the win with a goal on 88 minutes from Jermaine Jeannoel.
The Dalers now face Egham Town at home in the next round on Saturday 14th September.
Monday 26th August
A hard earned 2-0 win away at Croydon FC saw the Dalers move into 2nd place in the league. Playing in high temperatures and on a bobbly pitch the game itself was not a spectacle to watch but credit to both teams for the effort put in.
Goals from Jordan Eels and Ryan Golding secured the points in this local derby.
